Artist Biography
The Republic of Singapore is a small tropical island, just slightly north of the equator, in Southeast
Asia. The artist Kim Eng Lee was born, grew up and studied in Singapore. While still in high school,
her interest in art led to lessons at an art academy.

Singapore Watercolor Society
The Singapore Watercolor Society was founded 30 years ago on August 18,1969 by a core group
of 13 artists. These skilled and talented pioneers laid the way for future watercolor artists in the
Republic.
